| history |
Numerous archeological sites attest to the presence of
humans here in prehistoric times. Human habitation is also confirmed
by the discovery of three sepulchral grottoes. The Gallo-Roman ruins
(sculptures, coins, and sarcophagi) prove that the population was
numerous and active during antiquity. |
