Sabran is a very picturesque district that consists of eight
hamlets, spread out over an area of rich natural vegetation.
The hamlets of Donnat, Carmes, Colombier, and Combe are located
on the plain of the Cèze. Mégier, Cadignac, and Charavel,
the smallest ones, are situated on the plateau. The hamlet of Sabran
was constructed on a peak overlooking the whole territory and the lower
Cèze Valley.
This rural district is situated on the northeastern part of the Gard and immediately
adjacent to the town of Bagnols-sur-Cèze.

The area is divided into two areas: one faces St. Marcel de
Careiret and Cavillargues, the other looks towards Bagnols. Almost all daily
needs are supplied outside the district. However, several traveling merchants
still remain. There is one hotel-restaurant, one vacation village and a therapy
center. |
