This church, built in the Gothic Languedoc style,
contains an organ that was made in 1690 by the Julien brothers of Marseille
(the organ probably contains the most important set of pipes of the 17th
century). This organ accompanied the first recital of the "Minuit
Chrétien" on December 24, 1847. The lyrics were written by
a native of Roquemaure, Placide Cappeau.
Since October 23, 1868, the church has housed the relics of Saint Valentine,
patron saint of lovers.
