The Ceze has carved out channels and cavities in the rock.
They meet and form crevasses which the river rushes into. The most spectacular
features are the potholes, which are cylindrical cavities (some are several
meters wide) hollowed out in the rocky riverbed by the swirling movement
of the pebbles.

Open to the public, but caution is advised -- this is
a dangerous site. Follow the safety instructions posted at the entrance
to the site.
These limestone rocks are 5 million years old.
This is a registered natural site. It is impressive but also dangerous.
