Sautadet Cascades
La Roque sur Ceze
Sautadet Cascades - La Roque sur Ceze The Ceze has carved out channels and cavities in the rock. They meet and form crevasses which the river rushes into. The most spectacular features are the potholes, which are cylindrical cavities (some are several meters wide) hollowed out in the rocky riverbed by the swirling movement of the pebbles.
Horaires Open to the public, but caution is advised -- this is a dangerous site. Follow the safety instructions posted at the entrance to the site.
